Caring for the Community
Community Care is one of the three pillars of Lakeview. In addition to Academics and Spiritual Formation, Lakeview believes that caring for the community is essential to being an effective disciple of Jesus Christ.
To this end, the Community Care department trains and equips students with skills necessary to be impactful to the society in various ways such as counselling, hospitality, health care and hygiene, education and life skills.
To appreciate the rich diversity of our nation, the Community Care department organises a month-long cross cultural internship for the students in the summer at the end of their second year of learning.
