The Christian Studies Major of Lakeview strives for competent leaders with a broad range of skills and abilities to comprehend, analyse and integrate primary and secondary sources of biblical, theological, historical, social and ethical thought as they deepen their relationship with Christ. Graduates have the option to pursue careers as church leaders, cross-cultural missionaries, youth and children’s ministry leaders.
Bachelor of Ministry
Christian Studies major at the Bachelor level provides students with a basic understanding of the historical, social, religious and political contexts of the development and application of Christian thought and missions, with special emphasis on the Indian context.

Introduction to Biblical Greek
This subject offers an overview of the purpose and plan of God for the Church as prescribed by the Bible. Special attention is given to learning the principles of natural church growth and its impact on community development.
This subject is an introduction to biblical, theological, and pragmatic perspectives of missions in a multi-religious context.
This subject is designed for those whose focus is on consistent preaching ministry. Expository aspect of the preaching will be looked at depth with scheduled preaching opportunities at different junctures with recording and reviewing to develop excellence in the art of preaching.
This subject deals with foundations of Koine Greek – grammar, syntax and vocabulary – to provide students with necessary skills to read and understand the original meaning of the New Testament texts.
