Peter Ignatius
Peter Ignatius has been head of Lakeview Life Centre (and its parent, Madras School/College of Evangelism) since 1987. He was educated in Economics and Philosophy in India, and in Theology, Church History and Christian Leadership-Management in the United States. Apart from administration of Lakeview, he teaches regularly at both Bachelor and Master level in the fields of New Testament, Theology & Religion, Church History, Leadership & Management, and Christian Counselling. He is an active pastor-teacher at Christian Fellowship, Chennai. He is married to Catherine, and they have one son, Jason.
Catherine Ignatius
Catherine holds a Bachelor degree in Bible and Music with an emphasis in Christian Education/Spiritual Formation. Her Master degree is in the area of Christian Education/Spiritual Formation. At Lakeview, she is Vice-Principal and serves in administration, teaching and co-ordination in the Christian Education and Counselling departments.
V. Solomon Yesudoss
Solomon is an alumnus of Lakeview from the 1992 batch. He has a Bachelor degree in Zoology, and Master in Christian Studies and Theology. He completed his Master of Theology with the Indian Institute of Missiology. He continued his doctoral studies in Madras Christian College and received PhD from the University of Madras, Chennai. Solomon is the founder president of Sastha Nagar Christian Assembly and takes care of the pastoral needs of a congregation in Chennai. His interests are in preaching and teaching the word of God. In Lakeview, he leads the academic department and teaches in the areas of Missions, Theology, and Biblical Languages.
Samuel Victor
Sam graduated from Lakeview with a Bachelor degree and earned his Master in Christian Studies and M. Phil. from the University of Madras. He has also completed MBA in Human Resource Management and is currently pursuing PhD at the same university. At Lakeview, he teaches Theology, Missions and Business. He coordinates the Dual Degree program and the Alumni Association. Also, Sam serves as the president of SIGMA that partners with Lakeview alumni to establish indigenous ministries.
Rex Leonard
Rex has a Bachelor degree in English literature, and in Theology. His Master degree is in the area of Christian counselling. He teaches the New Testament and oversees the Community Care department. As part of the communications department, Rex handles the Lakeview newsletter.
Margreenda Khongwir
Margreenda has a Bachelor degree in Library and Information Science and Master in Sociology from Annamalai University. She actively engages with visitors and students. She serves on the Community Care team too.
As the Librarian at Lakeview’s Kenwoods Memorial Library, Margreenda has the ability to promote reading, and advises students on their choice of books from the over 17000 books.
Sarah Vidhya George
Sarah holds a Bachelor degree in Microbiology from Madras Christian College and a Master degree in Biotechnology from SRM Arts and Science College. She began teaching after completing her M. Div. in Christian Counselling at Lakeview and is currently teaching Counselling courses in the online programs. She is also involved in the spiritual formation of the staff and students of Lakeview.
Sarah is passionate about teaching and using creativity to share her faith; she is also involved in counselling and mentoring young people. She serves in the kids ministry team at Sastha Nagar Christian Assembly. She is married to Philemon Solomon and they have two children – Chrysa and Oshea.
Karthikeyan Rajamani
Karthikeyan Rajamani is a native of Andhra Pradesh, India. After graduating from Lakeview, he served with churches and mission organisations in leadership, managerial and pastoral roles. His areas of interest includes Business Ethics, Business as Mission, Care and Counselling, Christology, Contemporary and Liberation Theology, Disability Studies, Peace Studies, and Quality of Life and Well-Being Studies.
One of God’s greatest acts of grace in his life is the gift of his wife Angel and their two children. Committed to missions and evangelism, they continue to network and collaborate in training Christian leaders across the country.
Angel Karthik
Angel serves as the Communications Coordinator. She has a Bachelor degree in English Literature, Master in Journalism and Mass Communication, M Div, MBA in HR, and carries a rich experience in editing by playing various editorial roles at various institutions. Her interest lies in writing, editing and contributing qualitative content by integrating a multidisciplinary approach to specified subjects, including business and management. At Lakeview, she teaches biblical subjects, handles the website and the newsletter Connexions.
Powlinal Suganthi
Powlinal Suganthi has Bachelor degrees in English from Bharathi Women’s College and in Education from Sridevi Arts College. At Lakeview, she capably maintains students and staff records, processes admissions, and engages with visitors too.
Masilamani Selvaraj
Masilamani Selvaraj has been with Lakeview since 2007. His love for media draws him to serve as professor at the Media Communications department. Along with his responsibilities here, he serves as the founder of an NGO The Common People that fulfills the educational needs of more than 200 underprivileged kids. He is married to Sarah for 16 years. They have one child and reside in Ponneri, TN.
Anand Barnabas
Anand works as a Patent Attorney in an Intellectual Property Law Firm in Chennai. He holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sathyabama Engineering College, Chennai and received his Master in Design & Mechanics from Rochester Institute of Technology, USA. Later, he pursued a Master of Divinity degree through the extension program offered by Lakeview. His teaching focus includes New Testament Studies, Theology and Religion, and Leadership. He also serves in his church as a leader-cum-teacher and is interested in studying and exploring alternate models and approaches in making Jesus Christ relevant and known in urban areas.
John Marshal Zechariah
Marshal has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master in Automobile Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He then completed his master’s in Systematic Theology from Wheaton College, USA. In addition to being an itinerant preacher, Marshal is also the Founder and President of Credible Truth Ministries, an apologetics ministry based in Chennai. He has been with Lakeview since June 2019, teaching Theology, Church History, Apologetics and Religion.
J J B John
John was born and brought up in an ecclesiastical family, and holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Gujarat University and Bachelor degree in Theology. He has extensive experience in handling accounts and administration, having held significant positions in multiple secular organisations in India and abroad. At Lakeview, he looks after infrastructure and administration, along with public relations.
Joseph Anand
Joseph holds a Bachelor degree in Theology and Master degree in the area of Media communications from Lakeview Life Centre. At Lakeview, he teaches media communication subjects, does creative design works, manages the social media platforms, and coordinates the campus facilities department. Taking practical learning to the next level, Joseph recently initiated a Media studio as a startup company and provides hands-on experiences to the current students. Joseph is married to Jwala, who ably helps him in managing the aspects of the media studio.
Esther Barnabas
Esther graduated with a Bachelor degree in English Literature from the Women’s Christian College, Chennai. She works as the Communications Coordinator at Lakeview. Prior to this, she has worked in versatile fields – as an Academic Counsellor guiding students with their course choices, as a liaison between sponsors/donors and beneficiaries, and as a project coordinator aiding small business startups.
Esther has more than 20 years of experience dealing with kids between the ages of 2 and 10 through her local church and a play school. She is happily married to Anand Barnabas for the past 18 years.
Mihpli Lyngdoh
Mihpli graduated with Bachelor degree in Theology and Master degree at Lakeview life centre and currently pursuing B.A English in Madras University college in Chennai. As soon as I completed M.Min, God has a plan for me, Now I work as an Assistant Worden to guiding students, at the Lakeview life centre.
I have been here for around 5 years experience at Lakeview life centre . I'm compassionate to dealing with friends and talking with them & communicating with them. Also I'm willing to help others and to care, to serve God. Also in ministry. I'm happy to work at Lakeview life centre families.
S C Rajesh
Rajesh holds a Master degree from Madras University, Master of Divinity from Union Biblical Seminary(Pune), a Master of Theology from SAIACS (Bangalore), and a Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education from Christian Medical College (Vellore). Rajesh who is a Pastor, teacher & writer, has 20 Years of experience in the field of teaching and training young people for Ministry. He served as a Professor and Head of the Missions Department at Believers Church Theological Seminary, Tiruvalla, Kor-in Theological Seminary, Kolar and Nilgiris Institute of Christian Studies, Ooty. He also served as the English Pastor at Circular Road Baptist Chapel in Calcutta. Prior to joining Lakeview, he taught Value Education and Communicative English in an English-medium CBSE School at Vellore. At Lakeview, he teaches Mission & Ministry, English and Church Administration. Rajesh is married to Anita and they have two children - Ethan and Evelyn.
